Several firearm detonations were heard in Aldea Los Faros in the municipality of Ocos San Marcos, where a man died.
Neighbors who went out to see what had happened found 36-year-old José María Marroquín, known by the nickname Keiko, lying in the street.

Marroquín was taken in a private vehicle to a healthcare center, on the route they were found by a Volunteer Firefighters unit, but when his vital signs were evaluated, he had already died.
Elements of the National Civil Police were present at the scene to gather information about the incident. Likewise, crime scene experts work to obtain some type of evidence that helps clarify the incident.
Neighbors ask the security forces for greater surveillance in the area, where assaults and murders are reported.
