A resident of Malang City, James Loodewky Tomatala (61), had the heart to kill and mutilate his wife, Ni Made Sutarini (55). After mutilating him, James turned himself in to the police. James admitted that he was haunted by the figure of his wife.
James’ attorney, Guntur Putra Abdi Wijaya, said that the feeling of being haunted by James occurred the night after he killed and mutilated his wife into 10 pieces on Saturday (30/12/2023).
“After carrying out his actions, at night he felt haunted by his wife. In fact, because he was shadowed by his wife, he did not sleep that night,” said Guntur, as reported by detikJatimThursday (4/1/2024).
After being haunted, on Sunday (31/12/2023) morning, James asked for help from a neighbor who was also a friend he hung out with to transport goods to his house on Jalan Serayu Number 6, Bunulrejo Village, Blimbing District, Malang City.
His neighbors, who asked for help, rushed to follow the suspect to his house. However, when they arrived at the yard, the neighbors were shocked when they were shown that the items to be transported were pieces of the victim’s body in a bucket.
“After calling his neighbor, he immediately came to the Blimbing Police to surrender to the authorities,” he explained.
