Man fatally shot on basketball court in East Harlem.
The events occurred after 11 p.m. on Monday on East 108th Street, between Second and Third Avenues.
According to authorities, they received a call alerting them to the incident at Poor Richards playground.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers realized that the 29-year-old victim had been shot in the torso.
Medical personnel transported the man to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his death was confirmed.
Police are investigating and so far no arrests have been made in the case.
