NEW YORK – Police are searching for a man they say kicked a 32-year-old woman down the escalator at a Brooklyn subway station last week after an argument.
Authorities are now searching for the suspect who was seen on surveillance video walking up the escalators at the Barclays Center on September 9. The video shows him turning around to kick the victim in the chest, knocking her several feet down the narrow steps.
The woman suffered trauma to her left ankle, as well as bruises and cuts to her body, police said.
It is unclear what sparked the feud between the two and it is also unclear whether the two knew each other prior to the violent attack.
NYPD said the suspect fled on foot and has not been identified.
