The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) reported that Jesús Martínez was sentenced to 16 years in prison after being found guilty of depriving a minor of liberty and attempting to sexually abuse her.
According to reports, the subject committed the crime when he was traveling in a vehicle and stopped near a business located on the Integración roundabout, in San Salvador.
Subsequently, the subject forced the minor to get into the vehicle and took her to a motel where he attempted to sexually abuse her.
The victim then managed to flee at a time when the accused was distracted. Hours later after this occurred, the subject was captured by the authorities.
The FGR indicated that the subject is sentenced for the crime of deprivation of liberty, other sexual assaults and aggravated robbery.
