Man Injured in Zip Line Accident at Tree Climbing Park in Rennes

A 29-year-old man was injured in a tree climbing park in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), Wednesday August 9, 2023. The cable of a zip line dropped, causing the man to fall. Polytraumatized, he was transported to the University Hospital of Rennes.

A 29-year-old man was injured at the Forêt adrénaline tree climbing park in the Gayeulles park in Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine), Wednesday August 9, 2023. At the end of the morning, he fell from a zip line which detached at one end.

Polytraumatized, the man was taken care of by the firefighters and transported conscious to the University Hospital of Rennes.

The park was closed after the accident. He must now wait for an inspection from the Youth and Sport services of the prefecture to reopen. “The park will be closed on Wednesday August 9 and Thursday August 10, we will inform you of any progress in the situation”it says on its website.
