A police spokesman said the victim was injured but was able to speak when he was taken to hospital. Police have not yet said how the man was injured. The second man was not injured.
The spokesperson was not yet able to provide a definitive answer about the number of perpetrators; the police are now looking at camera images from, among other places, cafes in the area to determine this. It is also still being investigated whether anything was stolen.
