The incident was reported around 3.30 pm Tuesday afternoon, on Marijkestraat, just outside the city center of Delden. A man was injured in an assault for unknown reasons. It is unknown how he is.

After the assault, police said there may have been a stabbing incident. That turned out not to be the case later in the evening. The police arrested two people on Wednesday evening for the assault. A third suspect is still being sought.
