Authorities are searching for the man suspected of inappropriately touching an elderly woman and then hitting her in the Bronx, New York City Police said.
According to the police report, the incident occurred on Thursday, March 10, around 7:00 pm, in front of a residence on 50 West Mount Eden Avenue, when the 76-year-old woman was walking and was hit by the suspect.
The alleged attacker touched her inappropriately and when she screamed for help he pushed her to the ground and ran away.
The victim ended up with cuts to her head, one hand and her left eye and was transported to the hospital where she was later released.
The individual is described as a dark-skinned man in his 20s, with brown eyes, a slim build and braided brown hair. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a red hoodie with white lettering on the front, and sneakers.
