A man in his twenties was seriously injured following a swerve that ended badly on Route 158 in Mirabel.
The accident would have occurred shortly after midnight, on the night of Friday to Saturday in the Laurentians region, according to information from the Police Department of the City of Mirabel.
The driver, who lives in Lachute, was alone in his vehicle when the collision occurred on Route 158, between Route 148 and Rang Saint-Rémi.
He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is currently closed in both directions for at least the next hour. An investigation is underway to understand the causes and circumstances of the accident.
