The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. The house on Vroesenlaan has been cordoned off with red ribbons. A group of about ten local residents huddled together a little further. Residents are standing in front of the windows of surrounding houses, ringing their bells and looking out the window.

It is not yet clear what exactly happened in the house. A fight between the two men is believed to have resulted in a stabbing, which was stabbed with a knife. “The victim is in very serious condition,” a police spokesperson said.

A local resident says he was having dinner with some friends when he suddenly heard a loud scream. “I started to get annoyed by it, so I walked over there.” Arriving at the porch, the door turned out to be locked. “From behind the door, the boy yelled, ‘I’ve been stabbed, I’ve been stabbed’.” The local resident immediately called 112, after which the police forced the door with a battering ram.
