A man has been confirmed dead after a serious motorcycle accident in Kvinesdal in Agder on Sunday. Police say he probably drove off the road.

Operations Manager Eivind Formo informs VG that it is a man in his 50s. The course of events is currently unknown, but the police have received indications that the person in question drove off the road.
– It appears to be a single accident. No other vehicles have been reported involved, says the operations manager.
The police were notified of the accident at 18.45 Sunday evening, and emergency services including air ambulance rushed out to the accident.
However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Formo.
– A case is created, and then this will be investigated further, says the operations manager.
The police conduct interrogations of witnesses on the spot and secure clues.
