The man in his 40s lives alone in a private home, according to operations manager Hans Waage in the Agder police district.
He was last observed at Tangvall in Søgne on Tuesday 12 October.

The man was not reported missing until yesterday.
– We do not know what happened, and keep all possibilities up, says operations manager Hans Waage.
Thursday night, police, the Red Cross and Norwegian rescue dogs were out looking for the man.
From the Red Cross, there were around 40 people, according to the local newspaper N247.
