A man in his 30s must appear in Oslo district court on Tuesday, accused of attempted murder after stabbing his own brother in the chest.

The incident took place at Stovner center in Groruddalen just before midnight on Thursday 7 July 2022.
The man stabbed his brother in the chest with a knife, according to the indictment. But the brother survived, according to the indictment, because he received prompt medical treatment and/or because no vital organs were damaged.
The man is also accused of kicking a taxi driver in the back in the same summer, so that the driver suffered injuries and pain in his back and was on sick leave for two weeks. It is said to have happened after an argument about the payment for the taxi ride.
Three days have been set aside for the processing of the case.
