– Today, the aggrieved party sold his car to the suspect who left without making up for it, says Rune Hekkelstrand.
He is operations manager in the Oslo police district.
The Porsche was eventually found in a garage in Bjørvika. There it was put for charging in a handicap parking lot.
There was a note with the phone number of the person who had parked the car. We called the number. Then the suspect came out wearing a dressing gown. He was arrested, says Hekkelstrand.
The man, who is in his early 20s, was arrested on Friday night. He will be questioned during the evening.
Hekkelstrand has no details about whether the man was allowed to wear other clothes, or was driven in only wearing a bathrobe.
