Man in Custody After Breaking into Hospital in Trøndelag

A man has been taken into custody in Trøndelag.

A man in his 40s, heavily intoxicated, broke into locked doors at the hospital in Levanger.

He also visited patients and caused trouble in the ward.

– The man was picked up by the police and taken to custody in Trondheim. The man in his 40s is already known to the police.

– The man was under surveillance, but at the time this happened the hospital considered that he did not need further follow-up. It was a horribly high blood alcohol level, says operations manager Viola Elvrum.

– Fortunately, no one was injured, and the man will now spend the night in custody.

The police are considering opening a case.
