A metro traveler was injured last night at Rokin station in downtown. He fell between the subway and the platform and then got stuck with his leg.

Emergency services were alerted around 11:15 p.m. Several ambulances, fire trucks, a mobile medical trauma team and the police were called.
Officers let it be known via Facebook that the victim was approachable. The fire brigade was able to push the metro aside with air cushions and free the man.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance, the ambulance left with flashing lights and siren. Metro 52 did not stop at Rokin station for some time after the accident.
According to bystanders, the accident happened when the man got off the subway. The police and the GVB would conduct further investigations.
