Man from Romania Arrested at Aachen Exit with Outstanding Arrest Warrant – A4, Netherlands

A 35-year-old man is traveling as a passenger via the A4 from the Netherlands. On 22.07.23 he was checked by a patrol from the Aachen Federal Police at 2 a.m. at the Laurensberg exit. After the query in the search system, the night drive is over. The man from Romania was wanted by the public prosecutor’s office in Passau for forgery of documents. He could not shell out the replacement prison sentence of 5977.50 euros. As an alternative, he now faces a prison sentence of 73 days. He was admitted to the correctional facility.
