DEATH – A family tragedy. On Sunday, August 4, a man was discovered hanged in a villa in Mouans-Sartoux, in the Alpes-Maritimes. It was temporarily occupied by the famous reality TV influencers, Jazz and Laurent Correia, better known under the pseudonym Laurent Billionnaire.
According to information collected by BFMTV and confirmed by Nice morningthe victim is the father of Laurent Correia. Aged 57, he was reportedly found by the couple after a family dispute. The Correias, usually residents of Dubai, were visiting France at the time of the tragedy.
The authorities, who arrived quickly on the scene, found no suspicious evidence suggesting external intervention. As a result, the suicide theory is currently being favoured by investigators. The Grasse public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to determine the exact causes of death.
According to the family’s statements, several members of the Correia family were in the villa at the time of the incident, which allowed for a rapid intervention by the emergency services. Despite this, efforts to save the victim were in vain.
