A man in his 50s was found dead on Hellesøy in Øygarden municipality in Vestland on Sunday afternoon.
The police and crews from the Red Cross, Norwegian Rescue Dogs and Norwegian People’s Aid have been looking for the man over the weekend.
– At 14.51 a dead person was found who turned out to be missing. There is no suspicion of anything criminal regarding the death, writes the West police district in a press release on Sunday afternoon.
The man’s relatives have been notified.
