A man identified as Ryan Carson, 32, was killed by multiple stab wounds to the chest. The victim was with his girlfriend near a bank on Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn when he struggled with an alleged assailant.
The homicide occurred this Monday, shortly before 4:00 in the morning.
According to the report from New York authorities, they went to the scene after the 911 call and found Ryan Carson lying on the ground. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A public security camera captured the moment when the victim struggled with the suspect, but in the dispute he tripped over the same bench where he was sitting, falling to the ground and remaining in a vulnerable position.
So far, there have been no arrests and police continue to investigate.
