NEW YORK — Authorities are investigating the death of a man who was slashed across the neck with a knife Tuesday in Manhattan following a dispute, New York City Police said.
According to the police report, the incident occurred at about 4:14 p.m. when officers responded to a call about a knife fight in the area of 1 Arden Street. Upon arrival, the uniformed officers found the victim, identified as 55-year-old Maximito Polanco, lifeless and with a cut on his neck.
Two persons of interest were questioned, but no arrests have been made so far.
The investigation is ongoing.
