Man falls from ‘considerable height’ and dies on construction site in Den Bosch | ‘s Hertogenbosch

DEN BOSCH – A man died on a construction site on the Vijverlaan in Den Bosch on Wednesday evening. He would have fallen or jumped at ‘considerable height’ from an office building under construction, reports a police spokesperson.

At 8.45 pm a report was received by the police that the closed building site, located in the Bossche Paleiskwartier, may have been broken into. Policemen rushed towards Vijverlaan and went in search of the man.

“At some point a man fell or jumped from a building that is under construction,” says the spokesman, who emphasizes that forensic investigation is being carried out into the cause. The fire brigade supports the police with extra light. Just before midnight, the police reported ‘that the on-site investigation is still in full swing’.

Big impact

It is unclear who the victim is and what he came to do on the site. “This violent incident has a major impact on the agents who were on the scene and witnessed the fatal fall.”
