Man Ends With Broken Leg, Another Injured During Attempted Hammer Robbery in Brooklyn – NBC New York

Authorities are searching for suspects in a hammer attack during an attempted robbery that left two people injured in Brooklyn, New York City Police said.

The incident occurred on Friday, April 15, at about 2:00 am, when the two victims, a 41-year-old man and a 35-year-old man, were walking towards an establishment located at 135 North 6 StreetPolice said.

At that time, authorities added, a group of suspects approached the victims and demanded that the 41-year-old man hand over his jewelry. Following this, there was a physical confrontation and the suspects began beating the victims with a hammer.

The 41-year-old man ended up with a broken right leg and body injuries, the other man ended up with bruises on his face and body. Both were transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The alleged thieves fled with nothing in their hands.
