In the Duivenstraat in Aarschot, a serious accident happened this afternoon at around 2:20 pm. For an as yet unknown reason, a 77-year-old man who lives nearby ended up under his tractor. Emergency services, including an MUG team, rushed to the scene, but medical assistance was of no use to the victim, who died on the spot. The police notified the public prosecutor’s office, who appointed an expert and a law doctor to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
