A man has died after drowning in the Harlem River on Saturday, New York City Police said.
Divers from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) and the New York City Police Department (NYPD) pulled the man out of the water near of 301 West Tremont Avenue in the vicinity of Robert Clemente State Park around 12:25 p.m.
The man, in his 30s, was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.
On the other hand, the Fire Department said that another man was also rescued and taken to the hospital, but his condition was not disclosed.
It is unknown if the two cases are related.
