Officers in the South Holland municipality of Krimpenerwaard pulled over a motorist who was driving too fast on a provincial road. The 35-year-old man drove 167 kilometers per hour on a road where the speed limit is 80 kilometers per hour. There were two small children in the car.
The man was noticed around 5 p.m. at a laser check on the N210 near Berkenwoude. The driver’s license has been confiscated.
Because there were small children in the car, the police made a report to Safe Home, the advice and reporting center for, among other things, child abuse.
