A campsite resident disappears without a trace and never shows up for work. Now the police have come forward with sad news.
Update from Thursday, August 8, 12:48 p.m.: For days, a 56-year-old campsite resident from Weinbach (Limburg-Weilburg district) was reported missing. Now the police have reported on the case again – unfortunately with a sad message.
The missing person was found dead on Wednesday, August 7. According to the police, two canoeists discovered the lifeless person in a bush on the banks of the Lahn while on a trip on the Lahn. According to the current state of knowledge, there is no evidence of a crime or third-party negligence.
The criminal investigation is ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the death beyond doubt, it continues. The public search from July 28th is hereby withdrawn. For this reason, we have removed all personal information from the initial report.

First report from Monday, July 29, 7.31 a.m.: Limburg – Great concern for a loyal campsite resident: A 56-year-old is currently missing. The police are now asking for the public’s help in the search for the man.
What is known? On Sunday (28 July) at 6.30 p.m., the police in Weilburg (Limburg-Weilburg district) were informed by the police in Butzbach (Wetterau district) about a missing resident of the campsite in Gräveneck in Weinbach.

Missing person does not show up for mini-job at the campsite
The missing person was last seen on Thursday (July 25) at 5:30 p.m. at the campsite. According to the police, he lives there permanently in a caravan and is reliable. However, he has not shown up for his part-time job on site in recent days.
His behavior has changed in the last two weeks due to major problems, the police said. It cannot be ruled out that he is in a dangerous situation.
There is currently no information about the last known clothing of the missing person from the campsite on the Lahn. If you see the missing person or have any information about his whereabouts, the police ask you to inform the nearest police station. (esa)
