The cleaning of the pipeline of a sewer well on the territory of a pig farm in the village of Gritsevichi, Berestovitsky district, ended in tragedy for two workers. During the work, the men lost consciousness. The workers of the complex called the rescuers, reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Upon arrival, rescuers in special suits, using respiratory protection equipment, descended into a 3.5-meter-deep well with a sewage level of 1 meter and removed the victims from it.
Emergency medical personnel quickly arrived at the scene. One of the men, an engineer for the mechanization of labor-intensive processes, born in 1973, was hospitalized in the Berestovitskaya district hospital after resuscitation. According to doctors, his condition is stable, but with positive dynamics, he is conscious. The second victim could not be saved.
