Owner cafe provides help
According to the police, the fight happened at the terrace of a cafe, but the cafe owner Peter de Beer says that this is not correct. According to him, the fight happened at two o’clock in the morning, when his cafe was already closed. “We were in the process of closing the place when someone came in to ask for help. I walked out and there was a man lying in the middle of the road, unconscious. This wasn’t on my patio, it happened in the middle of the road. public road,” he says.

An employee of De Beer came to the rescue. He called 911 and together they placed him in the recovery position. De Beer finds it painful that his cafe is named as a location by the police, while according to him it was not here. “We opened recently, and then our name gets involved. But it also happened near other cafes. There are only losers here.”
