The police in the city were notified that many callers at 3 o’clock on Thursday night reported a loud bang. A man with serious injuries was found outside the garage of a house. The man was transported to hospital, but at 7.30 the police stated that the man died from the injuries.
When the man arrived at the hospital, there was a fear that an object he had in his clothes could be a bomb. The object was secured and investigated by police bomb experts. It was not until 7 o’clock in the morning that it was determined that the object was harmless.
The bomb experts then turned their attention to the house where the explosion took place. Several houses in the neighborhood have been evacuated for fear of several detonations, and a large area has been cordoned off.
