On Friday afternoon, the police reported a serious incident of violence at the Vestkanten shopping center in Loddefjord in Bergen. Two people were injured, one man and one woman.

The man was transported to hospital, and later died of his injuries, police said late Friday night.
– The deceased man and the injured woman were married. The accused is the son of the deceased man, the police report in a press release.
– The man is charged with murder of the man and bodily injury to the woman. He is now at the police station in Bergen and is scheduled to be questioned during the evening. The man has been appointed Marius Wesenberg as defense counsel and is expected to be produced for custody on Saturday morning.
