Shortly before 7.30 p.m., a security officer from ETH Zurich reported that he had found a seriously injured person on a forecourt on the ETH grounds. The security employee immediately initiated resuscitation measures, which were then continued by the alarmed emergency services of the Zurich City Police and Zurich Protection & Rescue. Unfortunately, the 26-year-old succumbed to his serious injuries on site. According to previous knowledge, the man fell from a 7 meter high wall onto a forecourt on the back of the building. The circumstances that led to this fall are unclear and are now being clarified by detectives from the Zurich City Police, the Institute for Forensic Medicine and the responsible public prosecutor’s office. A third party is currently not in the foreground. The Forensic Institute Zurich was called in to secure evidence.
