A man who hid 6,000 microSD cards in the frame and saddle of a bicycle and tried to enter/clear customs in China without declaration was secured at the customs office “Shatoujiao Customs” that connects Hong Kong and Shenzhen. It was revealed on the official Weibo account of China Customs, “Customs Issue”.

When the detained man tried to push his bicycle through an undeclared passage, he often looked away and acted suspiciously. As a result, he allegedly hid 6,000 microSD cards in the cavity of his bike. The case is currently being processed by customs authorities.

It seems that such “rare incidents” of smuggling/illegal imports of electronic devices have been occurring frequently in and around Guangdong Province recently. On April 7, a group was exposed for abusing Hainan Island’s tax exemption system to import and sell over 200 iPhones and tablets for personal use.

Also, on March 29, at Baiyun Airport (international airport) in Guangdong Province, a man of foreign nationality tried to import 56 boxes/1.3 tons of used smartphones/smartphone screens without declaration (subsequent measures). unknown).
