“Man Denies Daughter’s Lineage After Pre-Wedding Contract: Lawyer Tells Story”

Al-Marsad newspaper: Lawyer Ahmed Al-Juhaimi narrated the story of a man who was alone with his wife after the marriage contract a number of times before the wedding ceremony, and when she gave birth to him, he denied the daughter’s lineage to him, which prompted the woman’s brother to sue him.

And he said during a video clip: “The plaintiff says that the defendant married his sister and concluded the marriage contract with her, and he was alone with her a number of times in his father’s house before God passed away, and his sister became pregnant from her husband and gave birth to a daughter, but her husband denied the daughter’s lineage to him.”

And he continued: “The defendant acknowledged the marriage contract and that he was alone with the girl’s mother a number of times, but he denied that the girl’s mother had enabled him of herself, and he said this girl is not my daughter, and he asked for a DNA examination.”

The birth of the baby girl

And he added: “The judge asked about the date of the girl’s birth, and it was found that the birth was during the period of the legal marriage contract, and therefore the judge ruled to prove the lineage of the girl to her father,” pointing out that the DNA examination is accepted in cases of establishing lineage, not denial.
