A man has just been sentenced to one year in prison and a fine of 3,000 euros after the dismantling of drug trafficking, in particular cocaine, in Ares, north of the Arcachon basin, announces the company of Arcachon gendarmerie in a press release. The investigation opened at the beginning of 2023 enabled “to implicate a trafficker residing in Ares and to identify a dozen regular consumers.”
Searches at the end of March
The police carried out searches on Wednesday March 29, 2023 and seized “a few grams of cocaine, herbal cannabis, a grow room, 3400 euros in cash and a BMX X3 vehicle.”
Judged in immediate appearance, the court sentenced the trafficker to 3 years in prison, 2 of which were suspendeda fine of 3000 euros, an obligation of care and the prohibition to come into contact with the other people involved. “The trafficker’s vehicle was confiscated. The consumers were summoned for a penal order”adds the press release.
