Sergio Aguero before leaving Manchester City. The Citizens are said not to have a central striker as good as the Argentine.
Aguero’s contract with Man City expires in June 2021. He still has two more matches to play.
In the Premier League, Man City will have a match with Everton at the Etihad Stadium, Sunday (23/5/2021) at 22.00 WIB.
Man City will serve Chelsea on Sunday (30/5) in the morning WIB. The duel took place at Estadio Do Dragao, Porto, Portugal.
So far, Aguero have played 388 matches with City in all competitions. There were 258 goals contributed by the former Atletico Madrid player.
One of Aguero’s former team-mates, Micah Richards, struggled to say goodbye to the 32-year-old.
“Unfortunately, the goal machine was gone. It was a difficult moment for various reasons because I had no hope that Manchester City would have another striker as good as him again,” Richards said in a statement. Daily Mail.
“What sets Sergio apart is that he scores his goals as we struggle to overtake Chelsea and Manchester United,” the former England defender added.
Together Aguero, Richards donated the Premier League title for Man City. The achievements in the 2011/2012 season were dramatic. Aguero’s goal in injury time against Queen Park Rangers won the title from city rivals, Manchester United.
Man City and MU both collected 89 points, The Citizens were superior on goal difference from the Red Devils to be crowned champions.
