Manchester City failed to stay away from Liverpool after being balanced by Crystal Palace 0-0 in the 29th week of the Premier League at Selhurts Park Stadium, Tuesday (15/3) early morning WIB.
Man City’s desire to keep their distance from Liverpool’s pursuit disappeared after only getting one point in the away match to Palace headquarters.
Despite appearing with the best strength, Pep Guardiola’s team had difficulty breaking into the Palace goal guarded by Vicente Guaita.
In that match Man City appeared to dominate with possession of the ball reaching 74 percent and having 18 shots.
However, not a single goal that can be nested in the goal Palace. Apart from the brilliant performance of goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, a number of opportunities for the visitors evaporated due to poor finishing from Man City’s front line.

With only one point, Man City are now four points clear of Liverpool or dropped two points from a possible three points against Palace.
The point difference that is getting thinner puts Man City in the threat of Liverpool who are still pursuing and have the opportunity to overtake.
Plus, Liverpool still have one game left to play. So far, Man City has played 29 times while the Reds have only played 28 times.
If they win on matchday 29, Liverpool can further reduce the distance to only one point when the two teams both play 29 matches.
Meanwhile, with the addition of one point against Man City, Palace are now in 11th position or one point ahead of Leicester City.
