As “The Athletic” reports, the Manchester City offensive player is said to be on the verge of a deal with Gucci. The kicker was repeatedly photographed with clothes and accessories from the Italian luxury brand, and now he is to become the official ambassador. It would be a first for Gucci to have a footballer act as a brand ambassador.
Record sum for partnership
He is said to collect “a seven-digit sum” for this – a record. Grealish’s national team colleague Marcus Rashford (24) has already signed a contract with the British fashion label Burberry, but doesn’t earn nearly as much from it.
The upcoming deal is the result of Grealish’s meteoric rise to fame. First, the 26-year-old became European Vice Champion with the “Three Lions” in July 2021, a few weeks later he switched from Aston Villa to the Citizens for 120 million euros.
