FA Cup 2022/2023 played four last 16 games last night. Here are the full results.
The round of 16 of the FA Cup begins on Wednesday (1/3/2023) in the morning WIB. Five Premier League teams competed, ie Brighton & Hove Albion, Fulham, Leeds United, Manchester Cityand Leicester City.
Brighton travels to the headquarters of the Championship division team, Stoke City. The Seagulls narrowly won 1-0 via Evan Ferguson’s goal.
Fulham clashed with fellow Premier League team, Leeds United, at Craven Cottage. The home team advanced with a 2-0 win through goals from Joao Palhinha and Manor Solomon.
Man City also won when they competed at the Bristol City headquarters. The Citizens partying 3-0 thanks to a Phil Foden brace and a Kevin De Bruyne goal.
The surprising result occurred when Leicester City hosted Blackburn Rovers. The home team lost 1-2 to the Championship team.
Two Blackburn goals were scored by Tyrhys Dolan and Sammie Szmodics. Leicester could only reply through Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal.
This result has knocked Leicester out of the 2022/2023 FA Cup title. Blackburn Rovers advanced to the quarterfinals with Brighton, Fulham and Man City.
There are still four other matches to fight for tickets to the quarterfinals. All of these matches are scheduled to take place on Thursday (2/3) in the morning WIB.
There’s Southampton hosting Grimsby Town and Burnley vs Fleetwood. Manchester United are challenged by West Ham United, while Tottenham Hotspur travel to Sheffield United headquarters.
