Manchester City strolled into the semifinals of the English League Cup. Breakout was won convincingly with a 4-1 victory over Arsenal.
At the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday (23/12/2020) in the morning WIB in the English League Cup quarter-finals, Man City made a good start. Gabriel Jesus had opened the scoring in the third minute.
Arsenal who had been waiting for more managed to equalize in the 31st minute through Alexandre Lacazette. 1-1 score lasted until the first half was complete.
Man City went crazy in the second half. Starting with Runar goalkeeper Alex Runarsson’s blunder which led to Riyad Mahrez’s goal, Citizens then added two other goals through Phil Foden and Aymeric Laporte.

4-1! Laporte brought Man City to widen the difference in the 73rd minute. Starting from a corner kick, Foden released the bait after receiving the ball from Mahrez. The bait was then headed by Laporter from close range into the goal.
