Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala, 21, has previously been linked with Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid, but is also under contract until the summer of 2026.
Now the English newspaper Daily Star states that Manchester City is confident about signing Musiala – if the player decides to leave Bayern. The German is said to have turned down Bayern’s latest proposal for an extension, and thus the future is said to be uncertain.
At the same time, the newspaper also mentions that Liverpool are still interested, just like Chelsea.
Musiala has a background in Chelsea’s academy, but left for Bayern Munich in 2019. Over the years, he has scored 40 goals and 27 assists in 153 games with the German big club.
