“Man City beats Real Madrid 4-0 to advance to Champions League Final”

Manchester City managed to beat Real Madrid 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final Liga Champions. The Citizens advanced to the final 5-1 on aggregate.

Man City vs Madrid takes place at the Etihad Stadium, Thursday (18/5/2023) in the morning WIB. The two teams drew 1-1 in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bernardo Silva led Man City to a 2-0 lead through a brace in the first half. Eder Militao’s own goal and Julian Alvarez’s strike in the second half added to Los Blancos’ misery, which made Man City win 4-0.


Man City advanced to the final by winning 5-1 on aggregate. They met Inter Milan in the final which kicked out AC Milan 3-0 on aggregate.

Course of the Match

The hosts immediately locked Los Blancos. There was Rodri’s individual action in the sixth minute who then fired a shot in the penalty box, but his aim was still wide.

Man City got a golden opportunity in the 12th minute through Erling Haaland’s header in the mouth of the goal. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is in a sip position to counter the ball.
