Manchester City conquer Championship team, Peterborough Unitedin the event FA Cup. The Sky Blues won convincingly 2-0.
The fifth round of the 2021/2022 FA Cup held a duel Peterborough vs Man City. The match took place at ABAX Stadium, Wednesday (2/3/2022) early morning WIB.
Peterborough got the first chance in the 10th minute. Jeando Pourrat Fuchs’s shot headed towards the goal, before being parried out by Ederson.
Man City back surrounded the Peterborough defense to score. The Citizens’ efforts failed to bear fruit until entering the gap period. The first half closed with a score of 0-0 glasses.
GOAL! Man City broke the deadlock in the 60th minute. Riyad Mahrez listed his name on the scoreboard.
The Man City striker found a cross from Phil Foden before swerving down the right of the penalty and flicking the ball low into the Peterborough goal. The visitors lead 1-0.

GOAL! Man City doubled their lead seven minutes later. This time it was Jack Grealish’s turn to break into Peterborough’s goal.
Foden again provided an assist with a cross that Grealish received. The new Man City star controlled the ball and dribbled into the penalty box, before shooting the ball into the net.
Peterborough could not catch up in the remaining time. The game is over for Man City’s 2-0 victory.
