Police are searching for suspects in a brutal assault and stabbing in midtown Manhattan last weekend.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the attack on Tuesday, as well as images of more than a dozen people they are searching for in connection with the incident.

According to the authorities’ report, the fight began when the 36-year-old victim got into an argument with three people on Saturday, April 30 at 3:15 a.m. on 8th Avenue, near 45th Street. .

That’s when another group joined in and started punching and kicking the victim.

During the assault, the man was stabbed three times in the shoulder and back, according to police.

They also threw a garbage can at him, according to authorities.

In addition to the attack, his sunglasses and phone were stolen.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The group was last seen heading east on 44th Street toward 7th Avenue, police said.
