Man attacks roommate with pickaxe after crashing into neighbor’s house, California

In the United States, a man attacked his roommate armed with a pickaxe after driving into a nearby house with his own vehicle, American media reported.

A situation that could have turned into a tragedy. In a neighborhood of Lake Forest (United States), a man attacked his roommate by attacking him with a pickaxe, reported several media, including the American channel ABC.

The scene took place on Monday, May 22, in a southern district of this California city. The suspect would have initially embedded his car in a neighboring house before trying to break into his former residence, where he would have lived for two weeks.

The suspect managed to break into the house, threatening his ex-roommate to kill him.

“He kept coming at me. It was getting scarier and scarier,” he told ABC news channel.

After trying to calm him down, the man managed to flee while calling the police. He said he saw the suspect chasing a worker in the garden of the property. Despite the violence seen in the video, no victim is, miraculously, to be deplored.

Returning to the house, the man attacked a second roommate who also tried to reason with him. After presumably succeeding, he walked out the front door, pickaxe in hand and the suspect behind him. The police would then have neutralized the attacker with non-lethal weapons.

He was then taken to the hospital and then placed in prison.
