The victim opened a page on GoFundMe to raise funds to help pay for emergency surgery. So far, he has managed to raise $ 17,480 online, out of a goal of 50,000. “Due to the fact that I was seriously injured and I left, which led to emergency surgery, I will need multiple reconstructions,” his message reads.

The suspect is believed to have been searching for the victim for days.
