A man in Pamulang, South Tangerang (Tangsel), Banten with the initials BS (24) assaulted two other people, MF (24) and CA (24). The incident occurred during the takbiran night of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri.
As a result of the persecution that occurred on Friday (21/4), the victim with the initials MF died, while the victim CA suffered serious injuries to his hands.
“That it is true that there has been a case of murder and/or serious persecution,” said the police chief Pamulang Kompol Fiernando Andriansyah in his statement, Monday (24/4/2023).
BS has been arrested and is in police custody. Fiernando explained that the severe persecution that led to death occurred on Friday (21/4) at 21.00 WIB.
“(First victim) MF (24) male (victim died). (Second victim) Name CA (24) male (his wrist was broken),” said Fiernando.
From the hands of BS, the police confiscated a machete as evidence that was used by the perpetrator to torture the victim.
“The perpetrator who has been arrested, the name BS is a 24-year-old male. The evidence is 1 machete blade and its sheath,” he said.
Fiernando has not conveyed the chronology of the deadly persecution. Fiernando said that until now Pamulang Police investigators were investigating this case.
“An in-depth investigation is still being carried out by investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Polsek Pamulang,” concluded Fiernando.
