Hagen – On Monday, November 23rd, 2020, around 11 p.m., a BMW (7 Series) turned in front of a patrol car from Frankfurter Strasse into Bergischer Ring. The officers decided to conduct a traffic control and stopped the car on the elevated road. The 22-driver driver was unable to show a driver’s license. He claimed to have forgotten it at his work place. A subsequent check of his personal details revealed that the BMW did not have any insurance coverage. and was written out for cancellation. The driver’s license should also be withdrawn due to a driving ban. The 22-year-old could not show a permanent address and could not pay a security deposit on site. The police arrested the man, secured the BMW and filed a complaint. (sh)
