Man arrested who harassed police during Museumplein riots | Inland

The suspect is currently in detention and is being questioned. In the attack, one officer was also knocked out, he had to be treated in hospital. The police are still investigating the person suspected of doing so.

On January 24, just like a week earlier, a confrontation between the police and rioters took place on the Museumplein. The Mobile Unit intervened when about 1,500 people had gathered on the square to demonstrate against the corona rules against the rules. When the protesters did not heed the call to leave, the police deployed the Mobile Unit, water cannons and the police on horseback to clear the square. A total of 190 people were arrested. Most were quickly dismissed and fined.
